About Alberta's English Plumber
I moved to Canada from England in early 2020, initially working for a well-respected plumbing company in Vancouver. There, I gained extensive experience handling emergency calls in high-and low-rise condominiums, maintaining supply, drainage, and heating systems.
After relocating to Calgary, I continued especilazing in residential plumbing and began working in the construction sector, installing plumbing for new housing developments.
My residential expertise ranges from replacing traditional hot water tanks with modern tankless boilers to installing and maintaining underfloor heating systems. I am also highly skilled in leak detection, clearing stubborn blockages, and replacing outdated Poly-B piping.
Before relocating to Canada, my plumbing experience consisted of the following:
- I began my plumbing career at 16, serving an apprenticeship with a trusted local plumbing company in my hometown.
- I spent three years traveling and working abroad in Australia and New Zealand, focusing on plumbing within the construction sector.
Upon returning to England, I earned my NVQ Level 2 and 3 certifications, specializing in complex boiler installations and unvented systems. I then ran my own plumbing company, handling everything from simple faucet cartridge replacements to major combi-boiler upgrades.
